Tyke Tolbert has landed in the Big Apple.
Per a league source, Mike Klis of 9News reports the former Broncos wide receivers coach has accepted the same position with the New York Giants, replacing Adam Henry.
Tolbert, 50, was among six assistants purged from Denver’s staff at year’s end. He had been with them since 2011, surviving multiple regime changes, and was well regarded by players and media alike. He played a key part in developing Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders into top-flight wideouts.
In New York, Tolbert draws the task of tutoring Odell Beckham Jr. — a spectacular if not controversial pass-catcher — as well as Sterling Shepard, Dwayne Harris and a pair of ex-Broncos, Hunter Sharp and Kalif Raymond.
