Kareem Hunt won’t appeal his suspension, will sit out 8 games
Shortly after the NFL announced Browns running back Kareem Hunt will be suspended for the first 8 games of the 2019 NFL season, Hunt’s representation quickly put out a statement that they will not appeal the decision.
The statement was disseminated on social media as well as distributed in a press release.
Hunt has been on the Commissioner’s exempt list even after signing with the Browns earlier this offseason. The 2017 NFL rushing champ was released by the Kansas City Chiefs after 11 games following the revelation of a hotel security tape where Hunt was captured shoving and kicking a young woman in an early 2018 incident.
